The children in Pewsey class had a surprise when returning back to school this week after their Easter break.
Mr Coombs had kindly spent some of his well earned holiday at school creating a new exciting safe play area in the playground for us all to enjoy and look after. As a token of appreciation the children wrote thank you letters and wrote about what their favourite piece of equipment was.
We are proud to show off our fab homework that we have completed this week in Pewsey Class.
This week we have finally been able to release the butterflies that Pewsey class children have waited for patiently as they went through the 3 stages of caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly taking five weeks altogether.
" We are special just like a butterfly with its beautiful butterfly wings."
Fly away and stay safe love Pewsey class.
Pewsey Class enjoyed their trip out to the Cotswold Water park Lake 86 for their outdoor pursuits last Friday.
Teamwork was the aim of the day and it started with the children all helping to put up the new big Tipi. They did some super listening and followed the instructions Mr Coombs was giving very well. All the children enjoyed helping out with rowing and waited for their turn patiently.
We used the Teepee for Mr Coombs interesting facts about Cray fishing in which the children were fascinated and took in all the knowledge and asked questions and answered questions accordingly. After this a well earned lunch was also had in the Tipi. Thank you to Mr Coombs and Miss Love for organising our Fab day.
