Pewsey Term 6 Class Update

Week One

The children in Pewsey Class have got stuck into their learning on the first week back.

They have been learning about greater than and less than and showing a good understanding and taking turns in a group lesson very well.

Week Two

This week we have introduced playing with a partner chose by the adult for part of our Core 5 learning. This will help with our EQ skills and Values , I can work besides a partner and I can show Empathy and Tolerance.

Week Four

The children in Pewsey Class have been discussing about the rations that were given out during the second world war and as part of our maths have used their measuring skills to weigh out items such as tea , butter and meat and learnt that it was not much at all to last a whole week.

Week Five

We have enjoyed being creative using the Art activities on purple mash during Ict this week. Hoping for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Week Six

We have been practicing fractions during our maths lesson this week, we have been helping each other and working as a class together.

Week Eight

This week Pewsey class have celebrated VE Day with a street style party. We all enjoyed lots of lovely food prepared by Mrs Daw, The children have really enjoyed our WW2 topic this term and showed a real understanding and empathy for the evacuees and wrote letters home to their own families so they could imagine what life was like being a brave soldier fighting for our wonderful country.
