Westbury Class Update Term 2 Week 1

This week in Westbury Class we were really happy to welcome the children back after the holidays.

In English, we were using the 'Powerless' animation to support us with our work. We have been developing our knowledge of questions. In Maths, we have been developing our knowledge of fractions. In History, we are starting our race to space topic and have enjoyed learning about Albert the Monkey.

Dear parents and carers,

The Prime Minister has announced that a new national lockdown will come into force. Under their guidance, we are closing access to the school with immediate effect.

Members of staff are currently underway with the transition to deliver online learning to the whole school. We will contact you shortly with further details on how to access this provision.

During the period of national lockdown, schools, alternative provision, special schools, and colleges will remain open to vulnerable children and young people and the children of critical workers only. If your child is considered vulnerable we will contact you directly. If you are a critical worker please complete the following registration form so we can identify and assess your eligibility. In either instance do not come onto the school site until we've contacted you.
