Having a Frightfully Good Halloween

As the nights begin to draw in, and the chill starts to bite that little bit harder, the 31st October creeps up on you. Happy Halloween!

Although its history is rooted in sacrifices and warding off ghosts, Halloween in the modern day is an exciting time of year for children. There’s nothing they love more than dressing up in gruesome costumes, making scary pumpkin lanterns, and adorning their house in suitably eerie decorations.

Creativity is a crucial part of the education journey. Exploring the imagination and expressing thoughts and ideas in different mediums is a great way for children to develop. As a school, we highlight every opportunity for our pupils to get creative and encourage them to use as many outlets as possible — and what better time to be creative than Halloween?
