This term, Stonehenge Class enjoyed an exciting Outdoor Pursuits session at the lake, where the children challenged themselves through paddleboarding activities. Before heading onto the water, the children listened carefully to safety instructions and learnt the skills needed to stay balanced and paddle effectively.

Throughout the session, the children demonstrated fantastic resilience as they stepped out of their comfort zones and tackled new challenges. Some children found balancing on the boards tricky at first, but they showed determination and perseverance, continuing to try even when things became difficult. The children encouraged one another, celebrated successes, and supported their friends to keep going.

A particular highlight was seeing the children grow in confidence as they developed their paddleboarding skills and embraced the challenge of being on the water. Whether paddling independently, practising their balance, or taking part in water-based activities, everyone showed courage and a positive attitude.

We were incredibly proud of the resilience, teamwork, and determination displayed by all the children. They truly embodied our school values by trying their best, supporting one another, and refusing to give up when faced with a challenge. Well done, Stonehenge Class! ⭐🌊👏
